Gun

I don't know how many other people have played this game, but I spent all morning playing it and I'm loving it. For those of you who don't know about it, it's set as a western, you play as Colton White and the basic premise is you must avenge your "father's" death. There is a storyline you follow, but there are tons of side missions that make the game even more fun (hunting down criminals from the "Wanted" signs which are posted, learning to hunt, mining for gold, playing poker, doing missions for the Marshall, being a Pony Express courier, and others). The main storyline seems to be a bit short, but it is very exciting, and as I mentioned, the side missions add length and fun.

For those who want a little more info, here's the page at IGN. If people want, maybe I'll post screens later.

It is short. So you may or may not want to pay full price for it. I really enjoy it though and the extras do add some more time to play.

It is fun to play a gun-slinger from the ol' west rather than your typical war or futuristic FPS.

Just started playing it. Sorry I paid full price now that I find out it is short. Also bummed out there is no multiplayer. It is fun so far tho.

Well, it seems that people seem to be fairly interested, so I took some screens of the game. Here's a few just to give you an idea. I would hotlink them, but they are large. So here's the links to my photobucket account where I'm hosting them.

Colton White, the main character

Herding some cattle

Riding a horse

In the laundry

In the basement of the saloon

Wanted Poster

Enjoy.

I have it for Xbox 360 and although I wished it were longer, I loved everything about it, from the poker to the gun fights. And they got the horseback riding PERFECT.

Agreed... yet it is soft of satisfying when you blow the crud out of an alien and save the world
