Battle for middle earth

I am building a sytem and i want to know if it will be able to handle Battle for middle earth

MSI K8NNeo4 Platinum Socket 939 Motherboard

AMD Athlon 64 3700+ (SanDiego) Socket 939 BOXED

I can't see why not. I'd look into a different PSU, tho. Ultra hasn't received the kindest reviews. Check out Antec, Enlight, PC Power & Cooling, Thermaltake, or something listed in the PSU FAQ.

Indeed. Ditch that PSU. I would also consider getting a floppy drive (just incase you need it) and you should be good to go.

Umm...Battle for Middle Earth's requirements are like a quarter of the power you have there.

Minimum Requirements:
1.3 GHz or faster
256 MB
8x or faster CD/DVD drive
4 GB or more free space
Video card with 32 MB or more

i realize the minimum requirements are way under what i have but i want the game to run slicker than the snot on a door knob! i just wanted to know if this system would run smoothly

I'd stick with one of the listed brands. If you're gonna sink that much money into a system, you want to be sure to protect that investment with a solid PSU. Get one the gives unsteady power or blows, and it could take parts with it. If you want SLI support, check out THIS Antec model.
