I played the demo (which I think I told you already) and was dissapointed. Seemed like a cartoony (think Mario style) Unreal.

I've been playind COD: UO, MOH:AA, Far Cry, and the AOE III demo.

I'll buy AOE III, COD 2, and F.E.A.R. one of these days, probably when the prices drop a bit.

AoEIII, Rome: Total War, Battle for Middle-Earth, and I just opened Civ 4; I'm an RTS junkie. I'm really looking forward to StarWars: Empire At War to come out too - It looks awesome.

Although I do go on BF2 sprees every once and a while.

I can't stand Halo for PC... I absolutely detest the game for some reason - I don't know really, but it just doesn't feel right when playing.

NFS Most Wanted. It's the greatest street racing game of all, although the challenges are insane, and geting more and more "impossible" to win

Just finished Half-Life 2 this morning. Got that one for Christmas. Before that I was addicted to the first Half-Life (went through it like 7 times before Christmas got here ). As for looking forward to any new ones, you guessed it, whatever the next Half-Life game is. I can't remember what its supposed to be called.....I'm just hoping the minimum requirements aren't too high for my machine, because I barely fit in to the lower end requirements for HL2.

GT Legends, Falcon 4:Allied Force, and I'm playing thru Neverwinter Nights one more time because it's really spiffy and satisfies my RPG monkey-on-the-back until Oblivion comes out. Now they are shooting for March 20th. I won't hold my breath.

How was FEAR?... I just started it today and I like it so far, however it is a lot of walking, then an autosave, then to no surprise a little battle.

I liked it. I was going to start a thread but wanted to show pics and never got around to taking the pics.

But I loved the game and its atmosphere. I wasn't necessarily scared in the game but I took it for what it was, tried to understand the story, and had a good time. I loved just walking through some areas and waiting for something to bust out and it never did. Then a little later having a great slow-mo fight.

After beating it once I went back through and beat it again on a harder difficulty and tried doing it w/o using the slow-mo so much and it definitely adds a different feel to the game. Let me know when you beat it if you have any questions on the story b/c I found some good links that can help to explain it.

As a side note, I find myself trying to start slow-mo in CoD2, which is pretty funny.

Well, I have the Spanish version (and while I speak spanish, some of the story is hard to understand becuase I have to pay a little more attention to understand when they speak so fast - I lack that extra attention requiered). So I have missed a little bit about the story, but I will be playing through it in a couple of days, then probably going back and doing it again like you did just to enjoy it more.
