The Sims 2 - dual screen?

I was goofing around with my laptop and my new lcd monitor and through s-video was making it dual screen (not just a duplicate of the screen, but an actual dual screen). I'm wondering, is it possible to make The Sims 2 dual screen? Which games besides flight simulators are able to? Any kind of hacks to make it work?

Maybe if you treat it as an extended desktop, you could run the game in windowed mode and have it stretched across to both screens.
