A cool timeline of benchmarks in my rigs short life :)
I thought this was really cool ive got a timeline of every major mod ive done to my rig. If this is too big i can link it but i dont think it is......
![]() Started out as p4 3.0e HT with 6600gt, 2gigs of xms, and an asus board I then grabbed the now discontinued(due to pressure from intel) albatron px915gC PRO socket 478 pci-e x16 board(fantastic board by the way) and of course an XFX 7800gt which i plan to run in SLI when i do my next major overhaul(long time off i think) So that was the biggest change the cpu and ram swapped into the new mobo obviously. Then i picked up a thermaltake big water kit and look at the increase just from the water, all things equal, pretty impressive. Prescotts really love water. I then tried to o/c the vid card and did see a gain but it was running hot as hell and locking up occasionally so i returned to factory settings and have a koolance water block on the way for it. The last test is what ive been doing the past few days. I got the prescott up to 240fsb, 3605mhz and man did it yield some nice gains Running very stable in prime 95, idling 39c 50c under 2 instances of prime95, and 45c while gaming ![]() THanks for looking, man this stuff is addictive
