No, I was just wondering what does Tantalus have to do with Oblivion.

That ill-fated emperor and his progeny (except for the last one) have a resembalnce to Greek mythology.
I refuse to comment about any Picard transfers.
Upgrade, upgrade ----- well not that greatly, if the box will run HL2 it will tun Oblivion (we hope and the developers said).

That's the problem. I couldn't run the HL demo in full detail. If I can't run a game with all the settings maxed up I feel very frustrated. So I'll wait till I have built a new rig, but given the state of my finances, that won't be happening this year.

Ah well, no biggie. I'm getting bored with games lately, and I'm fed up with technology. But you guys let me know by your comments here how good the game is. I do intend to play it if I live long enough, I just don't agonise about it or will go a month without food just so I can upgrade my rig and enjoy the game.

Tantalus is were we get the word tantalize.

Tantalus' punishment was being teased by lucious grapes and cool water being held just out of his reach, for all of eternity, while having great hunger and thirst. Oblivion would be my grapes, what I'm being punished for is uncertain. Its probably for obsessing over this stupid game too much.
