Benchmarks

How do you determine your FPS? I want to turn on AA and AF a little, and play with maxed out settings in half life, so how would:

1) I turn on AA and AF

AND

2) Find out the FPS in Halflife, and other offline games

Most games have in-game commands that you can use to turn on the frame rate. Or you could download "Fraps" and it will put the frame rate up in the corner. It might have to be configured first...

What brand card do you have? If Ati, you can go into the Display options and you should be able to get into the Catalyst Control Center and change those settings. Not sure about nVidia since I don't have one.
