Unreal Tournament 2004

Is it possible to play unreal tournament 2004 (or any gamne like that) on multiplayer (1 on 1) by hooking two computers together instead of playing over the internet? Is so how can i make this possible?

You can create your own game server and have your other PC connect to it - I used to do this all the time with a friend who lived down the block - I would host it and join my other game, and he would join it. You can probably put a password protect on it so you are the only ones who play on it.

If both computers have a LAN port, all you need is a cross-over cable to connect.

If both systems are running WinXP, setup is a breeze. It's still pretty easy with other versions of windows, but takes a few extra minutes.
Have fun!
