F.E.A.R resolution question
I just bought the game and like it a lot. One thing I don't get is why I don't have an option to run it @ 1280x1024 ?? the nearest res is 1280x960. I want to run it @ my LCD monitor's native res.
Anyone?? |

Yeah, seems like some games are silly like that. I bet there's a config file somewhere where you could edit that. I've played the demo at the res on my LCD monitor and it looks pretty darn good...dunno if my system would handle the extra resolution though.

BF2 was like that for a long time and required you to alter the .exe file. You had to explicitly tell it to run in 1280 x 1024 before it would do it.

You'd think they would add that res to the choices since it's probably the most common/mainstream res.

I agree. I have no idea why they did that. I was looking around some of the setting files and didn't see anywhere I could change the resolution.

So should I just go with 1024x768? 1280x960 would be like losing some of the game real estate right?

Go over to the game forum and see if there's a work around or a patch : http://www.actiontrip.com/link.phtml...hatisfear.com/
