xp gaming only

I have just installed xp pro I only want to use it for gaming . I am keeping millenium for the internet, so does it have to be "activated" ?

Yes, there is a 30 day count down timer in it. You can activate over the phone if you don't want to hook it up to the 'Net.

Any particular reason why you want to keep ME? I've found it to be a pain, and while XP sure isn't perfect, it's much better than ME.

I have the same question as BigAndy. I have found ME to be the most unstable OS I have ever used. I would rather use 98 than ME. Why not used XP for internet?

didnt MS say it was also unstable? lol i think one of my dads friends who works at MS said it was a mistake and a nightmare at the tech support lol serves them right
