Alright I used to have a 32mb ddr radeon in my computer. It ran awesome but I kept getting errors (I can't tell what they are cause it gets all distorted). So i decided to put my tnt2 pro (16mb's) in and see if it helped. Of course my frames were shiste but it let me play longer before I got an error. The errors were numerous things (from the client.dll to nvopengl errors). I tried d3d but when i would move my mouse there was lag time from when i moved my mouse to what happened on the screen. Anyways today I bought a 64mb ddr radeon and it runs AWESOME. But.....I still get errors. Im almost 100% sure its not overheating (because thats what most people thought it was) because the chip has quite a big fan on it and I have a big fan blowing right on it and the processor. All other games seem to run fine so far (just counter-strike keep giving me errors).
Heres my specs: 850mhz AMD 256mb's sdram soundblaster x-gamer Thats all I can think of (if you need anything else just ask). Any help would be appreciated. |

lol Counter-strike rules.
I figured my problem out. I switched to the beta drivers (they said something about opengl) and everything works fine now!!!! Anyone who has this problem just go to the ati page and go to the drivers part and download the beta drivers. |
