any of you guys play the half life mod firearms? well wnyways if you do, do you know any admin consol commands for like booting and for full benifits? or maybe know a website that has them i have already checked planet half life but they don't have any. thx

Maybe you should try counter-strike. Its alot funner....lol Sorry I had to do that.

if you want to kick someone usually you can just type kick (player name or #)

If your running a server and you want to add stuff to it you could check out adminmod. Im not sure if it works for firearms (maybe cause cs is soooo much better =P jk ). Heres the link http://www.adminmod.org/

lol sorry cs is too slow paced for me besides i get reemed by all the low pingers it's a game that the only way you can be succesful is if you have a broadband connection i get too frustrated with it on my wimpy 56k.

Hmm, I'm doing just fine with my 56K. Rushing is not really an option with a high ping, but good strategy works nice.

Don't knock it til you've tried it! Counter Strike mops the floor with UT in certain aspects. As for Q3... that's a different story. I couldn't agree with you more on Q3.

Kingpin rocks! I play it every now and then when the kids are asleep or gone... The language is a bit on the adult side.

if you guys like cs you should definetly try firearms it is like a faster paced version of counter strike. it is deffinetly more fun then cs seeing how when you di you don't have to wait 5 mins to respawn but the gam is based on getting cap points and the team that runs out of deaths first loses because each team only has a certain amount of respaws each map......as far as any dm game goes they consist of mostly 3 buttons point jump and click..it doesn't take alot of skill to jump around and shoot anything that moves.

Unreal isn't about mindless Quake style free-for-all shooting. 90% of a kill is the moves involved to set it up. Honestly, I can appreciate the teamwork aspect that goes into CounterStrike, it seems similar to Rogue Spear in that regard. It's a bit too slow paced for me, though, and cheating is rampant. Many of the leagues out there have even dropped CounterStrike ladders altogether, because there are no methods to control cheaters whatsoever.

In any case, competitive UT DM is played with Weaponstay off, so it is anything but a race to the rockets and flak cannon. Unless you have skill to begin with you'll get neither, because the other team will keep you from them. It's about who's the fastest with dodging for position in 1v1 'battles', and who is best at backing up his/her teammates.

In the past week I've picked up 3 top 5 players from three of the most popular public DM servers to fill up private 2v2 and 3v3 pickup games with some friends of mine from other clans, and the three of them combined average about 5 frags and 13%-15% efficiency over a 20 minute match. In fact many of these public game guys I have no problem killing with a pistol, nevermind even if they do have their flak cannons.

Free for all kills are useless in the end is the point .

So untrue. I jump maybe 3 or 4 times per map if there's no powerups that require a jump to get to. Anyone who constantly jumps is minigun or shock rifle bait, easily disposed of. They might as well quit before the game even begins.
