New Ghost Recon ????
I know its not out (I think), but when someone does or if someone has an opinion on the new GR Advance War Fighter, fill me in. 50$ is a lot to throw out the window, like the last GR2 was.
I doubt that they will make a GR like the 1st one but I am hoping for something good at least. maybe looking foward to it. B |

I'm hoping it's better than Rainbow Six: Letdown.....I mean Lockdown. What a waste of money. GRAW is looking good so far, but after my experience with Letdown I WON'T be preordering it.

looks like we are in agreement. Letdown, as you put it was a bigger disapointment then GR2. Ehh, maybe not, they both stunk!
I just did some looking and see that it (3) comes out for the 360 on the 9th. PC-DVD (quote): next May 2006. So I am hoping they mean May 2006, not next May as in 07. The graphics look great. B |

I agree that the new Rainbow Six is terrible. But I always try out the demo before I actually buy it.
But don't worry guys Ubisoft will probably release some kind of patch in the mere future, I mean the original Raven Shield was not that good either.

I did try out the demo. Silly me, I assumed (hate that word) that UBI would hear the complaints and make changes before the full retail came out. Ah yes, well UBI responding to their customers would be a first, now wouldn't it? I blame no one but myself, but "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me". I will NEVER preorder a UBI, Red Storm Entertainment or Tom Clancy game again. I'll wait for the reviews...................

Yeah Ubisoft is a little slow to respond to those kind of things. Plenty of time between each patch they released for Raven-shield, would have thought they'd fix more stuff with the amount of complaints they get.

I just got it for the 360 and it is magnificent. I love the thid person view and the controls are incredibly optimized. You can take cover behind anything and it just works os perfect. I've heard people say that this game makes the other two Ghost Recons look horrible in terms of gameplay and design and of course graphics. I haven't played any of the other ones but these were pretty serious comments. The online is a blast as well.

I'll be waiting for the PC ver. Hope its as good as you make it out to be. Bet it is on the 360!
Off topic, I just played some of a demo called "Conflict: Global Storm" (http://www.conflict.com/) that has some of the GR1 (Rainbow) squad type play. You switch into the other players . Seemed pretty cool. Also Sniper Elite was pretty good (demo). U can get them both here: http://www.demoindex.com/ JFK, quote; "I did try out the demo. hmmm i think GR is coming for demo soon, try it then... its ubisoft, the demo wont be any much diff from the retail edition lol

well ill keep an eye out for the demo. lol thats pretty mcuh waht i do, look for new games. so i guess letdown was a horrible game, lol im not gonna even try the demo
