Some of the gameplay is improved BIG time. BUT some of the newer units are really powerful. For example, Task Force Talon gets a new spinner which launches a cruise missile that can land accross the ENTIRE MAP and it hovers until it finds a target. You can also launch a few at a random area and then guide them where you want them to go. Anti-air fire can knock it down though.

The biggest bonus: naval units!! The only way to try naval units is to play a multiplayer game but there aren't many people out there. I tried out the naval units solo w/o any other players and then found an opponent online. It was a non-english speaker who didn't know how to play the game and I tried to guide him along as best as I can. He just didn't know what to do so I picked at him and he gave up.

But yea... go ahead and try it out, although the demo is limited, it shows that the game has promise.
