battlefield2 problem

I got battlefield2 the other day and installed and played for a while then i went over to my friends and he changed some stuff on my administrator tools and maybe zonealarm. Yes it would be easy to call him in the middle of the night and ask. Seeing how thats not going to happen does anyone have any suggestions. already reinstalled. i had to turn zonealarm off previously to play so.

Really? If I knew what he changed I would change it back, but seeing how its in the middle of the night I can't exactly call and ask him as I stated earlier. It just shows battlefield2 then goes to a black screen then glitches to show the desktop again and battlefield wont' start up.

That is good to hear, nice of EA to help.

I was having a similar problem with BF2 after I compressed some old files, so I restored it to the previous week.

I was unsure if it would work, possibly make things worse, but it was a fast and simple process. I am glad I didn't have to reinstall the game and go back and change all the video and control settings.
