Starforce...
More DRM trouble :
http://www.glop.org/starforce/ http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=30447 Pay attention to the list of games on glop.org. This is another DRM program that, like Sony's, is a hazard to your pc.

It seems like there is no end in sight. It's getting quite ridiculous. Thanks, again, for the heads up, pam123.

I have no problem with companies trying to protect their software copyrights, but when they put hidden files or change the Windows Registry without the person knowledge and consent that is when they overstepped their bounds. I've looked at the list and I've only seen one or two games that I've heard about and fortunately don't own any of them.
It's a shame that a few people have spoiled it for the rest and it's too bad that some companies have gone to the extreme in order to protect themselves. There has to be somekind of happy medium, but as long the majority see this as somekind of cat and mouse chase nothing is going to happen to resolve this matter. Just my .02 cents
