What Games are you waiting for?

For me - I can't wait for Unreal 2007 - that game looks amazing
I also want to get the Godfather game, which looks like a fun one to play around with.

Lastly, I can't wait till Oblivion makes it to Argentina so I can buy it.

So, what games are you waiting for?

Has there been any mention or hints of a development of a FEAR Sequel? This game is incredible, though I am playing it through all-too-slow due to an overload of school stuff.

I am more focused on mods rather than full games. I can't wait for some quality BF2 mods, I hope they come soon.

They've whispered a little bit to the public about it. I'm sure there will be one coming out, don't know when. I thought it was in development for PS3 too. Can't remember though.

Yeah, I think so. I read an article around somewhere.......here.

I'm not going to ruin the ending but as you see at the end of the game.....there's going to be a sequel (or at least should be - don't leave us hanging! ).

Completely forgot about the HL2 "episode".

I believe they set the release date for Episode 1 for April 26, 2006. For anyone that hasn't heard yet, yes, HL2: Episode 1 is the same game that was originally called HL2: Aftermath. They just renamed it because they've decided to keep coming out with "episodic content" every 6 months or so. Basically smaller addon packs, but more of 'em. Works for me....I'm ready......I think I've been through the original HL2 about 6 times already!

From what I've read, it WAS going to be an addon that required the original HL2 game to be installed as well, but lately they've been saying it's going to be a stand-alone product and that you won't need the original HL2 game to play it. Kinda like Blue Shift and Opposing Force were, when compared to HL1.

Not free, but not as expensive as a full-sized game either. Right now they're saying it'll be around $20 retail or probably $12.95 if you download it from Steam's servers. It's supposed to be around 4-6 hours of gameplay, whereas I think HL2 was rated at like 12-14 hours, so not as long, but then again, it's like they're just adding a few chapters here and there to the story as they come out with new "episodes".

So no, it's not technically an addon pack (bad word choice in my above post) since it's a stand-alone game, but it DOES take off where HL2 ended and advances the story from there.

I think that's a good idea, we'll get the next few chapters in the story every 6 months, rather than one big addition every 2 years. Don't want to keep us in suspense.

One I was "waiting for" I got today: FEAR. As far as yet to come, I'd say HL2 and Halo 2 PC. ...and on the outside, maybe a better DooM 3...

I thought FEAR was overhyped and average. But Half Life 2 is a must if you haven't played it.
