If you've been having trouble with the game a solution may be at hand : http://www.passthepress.com/?p=267

Glad to see that are getting on top of that pretty quickly. I have not yet had a chance to go out and purchase it just yet, but I really want to... though, I know that if I buy it, I will play it rather than finish my homework.

About time. I've had a number of errors and a few paradox bugs for quests show themselves throughout the game. Not to mention I got a dead Dark Brotherhood representative dead in the middle of my bedroom in Skingrad that I can't get rid of (if any one knows how to get rid of him, let me know). I hope the patch fixes a lot.

See, I don't know if he's actually going to disappear or not since he's actually in my house. I tried throwing him in the fire place, dragging him through a loading screen to my downstairs. I can not get rid of him. He's currently sitting upright in the corner of my room like a ragdoll. It's very annoying, since I've put about $40000 into my mansion here and I got this naked stiff ruining the elegance of my room.

The thing that sucks with houses is that the furniture costs more than the house.

Go to the top floor of the mansion. On the "step" above the stairs is an ancient note. A master acrobat can jump right up there. If you're below that level (I was), jump on the table and then up there. Read the note, it's basically a riddle. The solution to the riddle is an hourglass. Go down in the basement of the mansion. Look for the post in the middle of the room that has cloves of garlic hanging on it. On the east side of that post, look up where the support beam angles from the post to the ceiling. In the crook of that support, you will find an hourglass. It has a killer ring in it as well as a few flawless jewels. Not $25,000 worth, but it's at least a little bonus.
![]() The ring has some favorable skill increases, especially if you're a stealth type character. I'm a battlemage, but I still use it on some thieving and dungeon diving expeditions. Let me know if you find it ok.BTW, I bought the Chorral house last night after sweet talking the old biddy. It's not as nice as the Skingrad mansion, but better than the other one's I own (I don't own in Cheydinhal or Bravil). Now I need to go do a little cave exploration, I have to pay for furniture!
