Amazing comp + old game = Ungodly lag

One quick question ive been playing shadowbane recently and it runs fine when i run one copy of it, most ppl who play the game run op to 4 coppies at once, however with my new amazing computer i am unable to run 2 smoothly(see sig for specs on comp). It only takes 100,000 k in system memory usage, i should have no problem running more than 1. MY question is simply, y cant i run more than 1? WoW takes about 350K to run but yet i cant run 2 coppies of a crappy old game at once.... Please help me....

Why would people run four copies? (Just wondering)

Is it a DOS game?

If you have any links to forums where the results of setting up 4 games, with settings, are we can figure out what you need to do.
Otherwise, we can't help.
