VIA chipsets is a broad designation, this product would not work on any of the newer chipsets from VIA. It also only claims to affect some of the memory settings, not "everything".

Tried this (basically all it does is enable 4 way interleaving) along with tweaking my memory settings in the bios on my Soyo board with the MVP3 chipset. Ended up increasing my score by about 20mb's in Sisoft Sandra 2001te. Don't know how much it actually helped though. Guess I'll uninstall it just to see how big of a difference (if any) it made.

I was having problems with directx and this driver fixes it. My board uses VIA Apollo Pro 133. It's really works for me. Before that, I was installing all the latest directx drivers and vid drivers and my problem was still there.
I even change my nvidia TNT2 card to Geforce 256 but I think it ain't the problem.
