Massive BF2 patch released (v1.3)

They've added Bot configuration - you can configue the number of bots and the difficulty level in BOTH single player and multiplayer (thats right, you can add bots to an online/LAN game).

Also, vehicle drops are added - another cool feature.

And of course, several tweaks and bugs were fixed.

Enjoy

I already download it. However, if you take look at on version on the top of the right main menu, it said different version number. I checked on the EA forums for Battlefield 2. It said go to community then custom games. It showed the Battlefield 2 version number.

Yeah, I'm having problems too with the new patch.

I have the same problem with the version number as erawanprawira, plus I don't see the "Bot Support" that EA said would be included with the patch.

I do, however, have the option of dropping a "Hud_VEHICLE_HUMVEE" as a commander (along with the options of regular "Artillery" and "UAV"). It just doesn't look right - something is messed up. A re-installation of the game does not solve it; I've tried it twice.

I took a visit over to the BF2 forums and it seems about 50% of players are having problems with this patch.

Looks like EA's going to need to release a patch for a patch!

I have yet to have a problem with it. Seems to work great for me and my clan members. TWL and CAL have approved it.

Cause I know my BF2 runs jumpy if I have my cpu OCed.

So you have tried running it without your machine OCed and it still crashes?

Was this resolved for you? I resolved mine as one sites patch was different from another's oddly enough. And if you get Specially Forces; you have to re-apply the latest patch.
