Unreal 2007 news...brace yourself

Reading on The Inquirer today, apparently UT2007 is now aimed to be released in MARCH 2007. Kind of disappointed but more time to save for a new build for me.

In other UT news, if anyone still plays UT2004, another small but respectable community bonus pack was released.

Haven't tried the bonus pack yet. Been really busy with work, but the screenshots do look good. I'm going to give it a go tomorrow probably.

Anybody make any good single player maps? That's one thing I miss about old games like DooM (the original series) and Duke Nukem. You use to be able to get hundreds of maps, and a lot of them were actually pretty good, too.

(Long time no see, wolfie! How ya been?)

The thing is that game engines these days are significantly more complicated than doom and duke nukem. But at the very least, map editor programs have gotten *a lot* more user friendly.

I built quite a few original UT maps. The new engine is a little bit more complex. Took me a while to figure out terrain and all that.
