World of Warcraft Story Time
I know several users here play World of Warcraft.
I know some are going to be die hard players while others more causal. Myself, I would say I am in the die hard Category. Anyways, thought maybe if players want to say something about their character or characters Myself, I am a level 60 Dwarf Paladin; we enjoy good food and good ale. I do play on a PVP server, which means any time I am in Horde territory or contested areas I am subject to attack or to attack my enemy. I do raid in high level instances, such as MC, BWL and of course we have started in AQ. Also I have one other Alt character I play for fun when not raiding, I have a level 35 Hunter, dwarf and a Tiger pet. I like using my Hunter for PVP, hunting horde as it is so much fun. Here is a fun story from a couple days ago. I logged into Gadgetzan, and was ganked as my screen loaded by a High level Rogue. He then used vanish to avoid the Guards. I went back, flare in hand, He came up, I put a flare on the ground and he still attack me. Funny when he could not stealth and the guards killed him and I lived. Guess he didn’t notice the Flare I put down. He same back, I laughed at him, he pointed at me. I was thinking he is going to try again. I cast another Flare, and then he attacked me again. Same result, he could not Stealth and the guards netted and killed him again. So for his trouble, I hope his one successful no honor gank was worth the 2 extra deaths he took from the guards which would be about 20 percent damage to his equipment. Worst part, I was a level 34 Hunter, and he was skull and me. I later found he was a level 48 undead rogue.

Byte, link your gear on your Pally sometime if you don't mind. I know we started our Pallys around the same time but I think you did a lot better with yours. I didn't get too far on him, got his charger, and (lol) a full set of LF.
Then I set the Pally aside and leveled a Druid to 60, went to MC/ZG/AQ with him a few times and got sick of the game and sold the account to a friend. I'm back now playing much more casually on the horde side. All I have ATM is a mid 30s lock, and a few other characters in the 20s. I'm sure this winter I'll probably pick my gameplay up some more, but I still don't know what I want to play as my new main. I'm debating between the lock, mage, warrior, or rogue. They're all fun... Ready for the expansion? :P

Going by what you said, I did better gear wise on my pally. I am not bragging my no means, just Spent allot of time and only playing one character, until recently.
I got all of Lawbringer, except the legs, I ended up with Judgement legs. Currently walking around with 5 Judgement set pieces and 3 Lawbringer (Lawbringer Chest, Bracer and belt, reset is Judgement set.) In my guild, we use a DKP system and I have enough points above the other pallies that need the same parts as myself, that if i am there and the other parts of judgement drop, I win by default. Very ready for Expansion. |

Yea, i have a 60 Human Rogue... got into a good guild and raided MC/BWL/AQ..the usual.
Then back stabbing got really boring so i switched realms and started a priest.. have her up to 45 and going strong. Hope to get in a good end game guild and get her epic'd up. |

I was playing EVE-online for awhile but finally got tired of it - the guys in the corp I joined weren't the nicest of fellows...and the gameplay got incredibly boring. Plus, I was playing it way too much.
I've heard both good and bad things about WoW, but in the end it seems to be the one MMORPG which everyone recommends. If I were to ever start playing one again, should WoW be it?

the thing is with WoW is that you leave your real life behind because you enter a whole new world. The things you can do in this game compare to none other. also if you want to try for free for 10 days anyone whos currently playing can get you a free trial key ,I myself have 2 kicking around.

I never played that game but what i remember is a WoW player posted a comment on a forum at 3am or something and his mom read it and told him to get his butt into bed or else she was going to take the acount away. he got owned by his mom on a public WoW forum. that thread when i found out had over 35 pages of laughter at the kid.

Damn Pro... nice gear
You don't PVP? or that prog just doesn't track it? You could be kicking butt in the BGs with that stuff And yeah, that thing with the kid getting busted on the WoW forums was awesome. I think the only reason he got caught is because his mom played WoW too, and she happened to be browsing the forums at that time. Defintely a classic moment in video game history. If you start playing be careful. It'll definitely suck you in. I've quit playing 3 times now because I got carried away and somehow I always go back. |

No actually Ive never PvPed , the guild Im in raids every evening so I dont have time to PvP much. and that gear isnt my DPS gear .When you run WOWguru it only scan what you wearing , I tried rescanning with my shadow gear (553) but it clashing with the new patch. Only folks giving a hard time in duels are Tier 2 warriors, they keep resisting my fears .
