Runescape - A security question

My brother wants to get the full membership at Runescape. Has anybody ever had security problems doing this? I just don't really have much trust in the site myself, and it's my job to check it out for him.

My youngest has/had one. No problems that I can report. FWIW.

Alright, thanks guys. I signed him for it. It just looked a little too hokey for me, especially the whole website design.

I played it for a while, and although it has a very "omg n00b" community, it's a fun game. I spent about a year playing it constantly.

Ah yes, the joys of Runescape.

I played back when the "world" was quite small... only 4 or 5 places to go. And there were only a smattering of skills to learn.

I myself learned to cook... might be a reflection on what I love to do in the real world

I also never got a full membership (it was free back then, actually), but yeah, the web design is lacking...

I played it from the beginning, when the people on there were helpful. Now if I log on, I have to turn chat off or get bombarded with "g1v4 fr33 r00n plz".

Hehehe... somebody tried to sell me bones once. Back then, bones were only good for burying... and there was actually no good use for it yet, because "Faith" hadn't been added to the game yet.

Although I did have some fun times when I learned how to dye capes. You'd be amazed how much a purple cape goes for when nobody knows how to mix dyes to make it!
