i740 video BIOS update problems
hm, yep, still using i740...
just recently i found out that i could update the video bios of the card, so i downloaded the flash utility from intel and new bios. the problem is that the utility only supports certain flash devices and apparently it doesn't support mine. is there a different flash utility out there? btw, how do i know what flash device do i have? thanx. |

The i740 chipset was used by many card manufacturers - generally you have to get a bios flash from the cardmaker - but the generic i740 drivers will work well on any card with that chipset.
