How much should i sell this Ps2 for?

Hi all,

Im thinking about selling my Ps2 as its just sitting there collecting dust.

I wont be selling it online so no offers here please as they will be ignored.
I respect the forum rules and i am not advertising in any way..Just asking for opinions.

Im into playing Pc games more now and probably wont be buying another Console again.

How much you people think its worth and how much i could sell it for?
Im gonna be selling it around christmas time because i think it will sell better.

So heres the details

Black Older fat type Ps2 Example...http://www.at-mix.de/images/glossar/playstation-2.jpg
Original Playstation 2 (8Mb Memory card)
Play.com Upright ps2 stand

18 Original games

Quote:
Twin Caliber
True Crime:Streets of La
WRC 2:Extreme
Terminator 3:Rise of the machines
Gumball 3000
GTA:San andreas
GTA:Vice city
GTA:3
Lotus challenge
Driver 3
Enter the matrix
Robot wars - Arenas of destruction
Red faction
Half-Life
Timesplitters
Crazy Taxi
Burnout
F1 2001
The console works perfectly,However i had to replace the original joypad with a Madcats one because the original joypad stop working.

Thanks

Wow, theres alot of games! Way more that me, im guessing you will get a respectable price for that! Not too sure but i recon youll get a decent amount espically around xmas . How old is the Ps2? And are any of the games scratched? (well noticable without looking for them)

Good luck

I'm guessing you could sell the PS2 console for around $50 max and each game for about $10 max.

£230?! Humm, thats quite alot, but buying them games new would cost more. So yeah, thats a good estimate to go on. How about selling the games sepratly for a bit more for each, you could get more money for it, althought it would take longer.

Why not have a look at some of the auctions on eBay and see what other people are getting for similar items.

If you plan to sell privately then stick a few $ on...?

eBay is your best bet to check what things are going for.

Chris, that was $230 US, which converts to £120.

Oh i see, sorry i thought it was just a typo. £120 actuall seem a little low seeing as 18 games are worth alot. The Ebay suggestion is good, probably worth checking.

Plus it can go even higher because you're auctioning it. If I wanted a PS2 badly, $250 doesn't seem that bad for all the stuff you're getting.

Hell 300 can be the max too. Try it! Good luck man .

I'd say get a new CPU first if its for PC parts.
