Game for Xbox???

First of all, will most of the games that come out for xbox be out for computer?? Also, since ea sports is going to be making games for it, will any college football games be coming out?? I dont want to get ps2, or dreamcast to be able to play one. WIll a current one be coming out for computer any time soon??

I'd guess probably 50-60% of the games for the X-Box will also be available on PC, but alot of them will be X-Box specific. How else are they going to sell those things unless they make some good game titles that are only available on the X-Box?

Come on now... this is EA Sports we're talking about... I'm sure they'll have at least one or two great college football titles.

I'm not really interested in a Microsoft Gaming box. If you ask me, the Playstation 2 will be the much better alternative, especially when the X-Box arrives on store shelves. The PS2 price will almost definitely drop and it will probably be a dramatic drop ($100 or more!). PS2 can't be beat currently for game selection, and it's DVD capabilities. It's arriving at my house sometime in November after the X-Box is available and the Playstation 2 goes on sale for all the Christmas shoppers.

I can't wait to try Gran Turismo A-Spec! I hear it's awesome!

o lord now everyone is getting me all..worried...you you guys honestly think ps2 will be better??..I mean, dont the stats show the xbox is faster, and more powerful?? OR am I just ignorant?? I love all those titles I see for sony's ps2, but would I be better off buying the new console??? I dont like gamecube...b/c nintendo is all in kiddy games...I like football illegal street racing...war... ww2 games.... teenager stuff.. I know sony has great games...and it looks as if xbox will too, but really...which one is actually faster...and has more game titles?? ncaa 2002...for ps2 that looks awsome....for pc last one was what ncaa 99??? So which system would be better?? MOst gamers I know have the ps2.

in overclockers forums also, they seem to like ps2 better?? I have 160 bucks...I have to make about 2.300 a day to meet my xbox goal on the 9th, do you think that ps2 will drop in the first week of xbox sales...I dont have a good system right now...I am about to die of boredom.... Cause if most people agree that ps2 is better, the heck I'll buy that, get a couple of games to go with it......soo you guys think it will drop 100 in one week?? or a gradual drop?? I want something that week to have...

Don't get me wrong, the X-Box will be stronger than the PS2. The X-Box will have something in the neighborhood of a P3 766MHz processor, GeForce2 or 3 type graphics processor, all the bells and whistles, etc etc... but right now there are very few game titles for it. Alot of the games that come out when a new system hits the shelves are total crap. The PS2 game title list is growing by the day, and don't forget, it will play your old PS1 games too! I spoke with a guy at Electronics Boutique the other day and he told me to expect a $100 discount on the PS2 the week the X-Box hits the shelves. Sony isn't going to lose money on that deal. Lots of people have PS1 games and hate to see them go the way of the dinosaur. They've (Sony) got a firm foothold and I doubt they will let the price of the PS2 go on at the $300 mark when the X-Box arrives.

ok thanks I THINK IM gonna buy the ps2, so you think there wont be as good of games on the xbox?? IM poor So i think the ps2 would be the budget alternative

I think there will be awesome titles for the X-Box, but I also think alot of crap games will hit the market very early, just to make it seem like there are more games to choose from. It happened with the PS2 when it hit the shelves and I predict it will also happen to the X-Box. Alot of games will have cool looking packaging, and alot of magazine ad hype, but won't amount to anything after you take all that away.

I already know there are awesome titles for the PS2 though and it gets my vote.

My boys were saving up for a PS2 but now the cool word on the street is Big Bill's Box.

I think we'd better not underestimate Big Bill. He might have a few suprises up his sleeve. Plus he's got the cash to give Sony a run for their money.

A good old war might just encourage Sony to lower the mega price tag for PS2 games.

Anyway, it's time Bleem! and VGS got their fingers out so we can enjoy more of these titles on PCs. Then I wouldn't have to get out of my chair so often.

hmmmmm dont know, how much will the hard drive cost for ps2?? Also, how much will the broadband cost, and can you get something to let you play 4players right??? b/c xbox has hd 4 players...and broadband already, just need to see how much all this will cost.
