KOTOR III ~ more than a rumor?

There's rumor that a third rendition of the popular Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic could be in the planning stages for for xbox 360 and ps3. Nothing has been confirmed, but common sense would tell you that the folks over at LucasArts have more than likely entertained the idea due to the huge successes of their two games for the xbox and pc.

I found my old copy of the original game and have been playing it fairly heavily for the past couple of days. I played it once before but put it down too quickly. I'm finding that it really is a great game and was wondering who else has ever played it.

Who here would consider buying it if they made a third one for the xbox 360 / ps3 / or pc? I'd pick it up for the 360 and or pc myself.

I enjoyed the first one...the second one I started to play, but got tired of it and moved onto other things. RPGs aren't usually my cup of tea.

I have KOTOR II, and really liked it. Lots of potential for replay value, but the story was SO intensive and SO long that I haven't really played it much since I beat it the first time. I would like to see the combat sequences change and see a lot more flow to the game before I'd venture towards the 3rd. I like feeling like I am in/watching a movie, not playing a game. More immersive that way.

Alright guys, check this one out. This might be even better than a third KOTOR.

I played both on my Xbox. Liked them a lot. Only bad part is my partner kept trying to keep me on the light side. Sometimes, you just want to wisecrack some pontificating character.

KOTOR was good, So was KOTOR2, the 2nd was too short. I'm not an rpg kinda guy(CounterStrike ftw) but those I do enjoy, and they are the only RPGs I have actually beaten so yeah I'd buy the third. *crosses fingers for PC version*

Edit: Oh yeah check out my name, guess what game I was playing when I signed up on PcMech.
