From Dusk till Dawn...it ain't so bad
Ok, I know it's been receiving crappy reviews but I like "survival horror" and, as it was made by the same team who made "The Devil Inside", I had to try it for myself.
Well, after a dubious start, I must say I'm quite enjoying this little number. The graphic's aren't in the same league as Max Payne but there are some nice and hair-raising ideas in here. Yes, it's change of pants time when you're attacked by a pack of Vampires, some running, some crawling along on the floor, and some crawling along the ceiling. It's mission driven, has diverse enemies, good range of weapons, and has variety in the levels. You also meet people along the way who become part of your fire-team. You can play first person or third person and at certain points in the game get to stop mass onslaughts with floor mounted mini-guns or a sniper rifle. Yes, I'm enjoying this little number. If survival-horror is your cup of tea, then this will keep you sweet for a while. It's not perfect, but hey, what other game offers you the chance to be George Clooney. |

Have any of the reviewers actually played this game? I've been playing it for the last week and I think it's pretty good. Plenty of monster action with music that rocks.
We got walking Vampires, flying V's, crawling V's, big V's, small V's, mutated V's, hooker V's, invisble V's, lizard V's, soldier V's, flamethrowing V's, grenade launching V's...in fact, every type of V you want, you can get here. I've lost count of how many times I've died but when you die with a smile on your lips you know you're enjoying yourself. Oh well, time to load up the M16 and grenade launcher and get back into the action. |

Have you ever seen one of these so-called "Invisible Vampires"? LoL

Yes.
With the game comes a specially adapted pair of Pince-nez that enable the player to see them. But just in First Person perspective. |
