Mpeg Editing
Ok, I got a mpeg-1 file I would liek to burn as a vcd but it's like 200Mbs, too big. I would like to cut some of the beginning and the end off and do anything else that may make the file size smaller. If you guys know of any good prgrams to do this please let me know. Thanks a million in advance

TMPGEnc (Tsunami MPEG Encoder) is the best freeware out there.
I have experience with it in cutting MPEG-2 streams. It does it without any quality loss. www.tmpgenc.com When downloaded the program, just run it. Then go to File, MPEG Tools, switch to the Merge&Cut tab. For cutting: Type: MPEG-1 Click on ADD to add the MPEG-1 stream. In the OUTPUT field write the name of the cutted file. Then go to edit and cut whatever you want. After cutting click on RUN and TMPGEnc will cut the stream. For merge: Type: MPEG-1 Click on ADD and add all streams you want to merge in the order you want to merge. Write in the OUTPUT field the name of the new file. Then click on RUN and TMPGEnc will merge your files. This also works with MPEG-2 files. RJ
