X-Com is BACK
Im a huge fan of the X-com series.
There are 3 games out with newer graphics the 1st is a series called Alien:aftermath and Alien:afterlight which are 3D! the other its called ufo:extraterrestrial which is modeled right from X-com even the sound is the same Any one played any of these games and has anything to say about them All these little kids that werent still in your cribs when the X-com series came out you cant and wont undertstand this type of playing. What makes this game so good its the combination of sim city and commaders. You build your base based on research you do on artifacts you find on alien ships you shoot down and then send your troops to kill all aliens in the area. If you have patience and like a thinking game i woould def suggest UFO: extraterrestrial. Once you start you wont stop

Do not get any of the others if your a real true X-com Fan
THE WHOLE ALIEN : AFTERMATH AFTER LIGHTS ITS MORE OF A FAST PACED REALLY BORING SERIES. UFO: EXTRATERRESRIAL sticks to everything the original X-com is from the sound to the game play and everything from reserach to manufacturing some differences: You no longer purchase soldiers and scientist Soldiers are sent to your base every 2 month about so you cant get your guys killed Your soldiers no longer die all the time, they can take more damage and usually end up in the hospital after a mission. Spending about a month for serious wounds, which is also not good if you have your whole squad in the hospital. Scientists come with the reserach lab, each lab automatically gives you 10 scientits. You no longer need to purchase ammo for your Fighters, but you still need to purchase ammo for your soldiers. Anything you purchase automatically goes to your base there is no shipping time. Besides these subtle difference THE GAME IS THE SAME I ACTUALLY MISS HAVING TO PURCHASE AMMO FOR THE FIGHTERS WITH TIME AND ALSO WATCH YOU DONT FILL YOUR WAREHOUSE, WHICH I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND HOW IT WORK. AWSOME GAME GET IT |
