Glitch in an MMO (Ragnarok Online) maybe video card?

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this, but I don't know where else to go for help. I tried posting on the official forums for this game, but not only was I sent through automated answer hoops, but when I was told to e-mail them a dxdiag file to have it looked at, they again sent me an automated mail, and deleted my post with no warning from the forum when I questioned them about it.

It's been a few weeks since then and I did make one last post on that forum, but I'm coming here to see if anyone is familiar with this game, and even if not, could anyone possibly try and troubleshoot the source of my problem.

Long story short, I can load up the game just fine, walk around etc. However, when I hover my mouse over specific items or locations on the screen, my monitor sort of turns off and the green light on the bottom turns orange as if my system's been shut down, but I can still hear it running. If anyone has an idea of where to start looking for the cause, I'd be truly greatful.

That sounds like the sort of problem a game patch would have, unintentionally , introduced.
Had you done any updates just prior to this starting( driver updates included) or did it descend on out of the blue?
Don't send me your DX file but when you run the diagnostic does it turn up any errors and if so what are they?

There were no updates prior to. My system was running on the same video card drivers it always had, and this was a fresh up to date installation of their game. Since having encountered this problem I've tried reinstalling drivers several times and even reformatted my computer.

As for errors, I'm not exactly computer savy just yet, but the only thing I see that could be an error is under DxDiag Notes, for Display Tab 1 it says:

"The file ati2dvag.dll is not digitally signed, which means it has not been tested by Microsoft's windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL)..."

But I think that's due to the fact that I'm currently using Omega drivers, which nothing else on my system seems to have trouble with.

OK, this narrows down to mouse drivers ( uninstall/reinstall but check for any updates as well) or it's pointing at the game.
Try the mouse deal first, if you haven't already.

Well it's not my mouse. I scrounged around for some drivers and got the same thing. What's strange though is my laptop running on a puny integrated graphics card can run this thing, but my actual PC can't.

OK so back up anything you need for the game and uninstall.
Then run CCleaner to get anything left over.
If you haven't done so regularly run a malware scan, game forums have been buzzing lately it may be important or not but it won't hurt to check out your protections.
Now check to make sure all your drivers and DX installs are up-to-date ( I've used the Omega drivers and I've liked them but consider trying out the ATI/AMD standard ones this time around) and double check for patches for the game and download them to a file if possible.
Read release notes for all the drivers since the issue may have cropped up and been dealt with by something you haven't come across.
Now re-install and patch the game ( make sure the security software isn't blocking anything).
It's a pain but it may get everything running for you.
