Star Wars Unleashed
http://starwars.yahoo.com/
I watched all the videos on yahoo's site after it was posted on yahoo's frontpage. Wow. Some of "making the game engine" type videos are very impressive in terms of content and video game advancement.

Very cool. Thx for the link. As a star-wars fan I must say, this might just be the game that actually gets me to buy a next-gen console. Hm...now which one to play it on? Heck, it's even coming out for the Ps2.
The videos were great. The Euphoria behavioral simulation engine is going to add a lot of depth to the masses of enemy NPC's you mow down with the force, and the digital molecular matter is a nice touch to the environment as well. Also pretty cool to see was how involved GL still is with every aspect of the franchise. Looking forward to this game's release! |

One other impression about the game.... In the video, the dark apprentice ignites his lightsaber backwards. I thought this was neat: not only does it look cool, it is also symbolic of the how the dark side of the force (i.e. the backwards twisting of the light side) has come to dominate the galaxy. |

Slighty OT, but one thing I would have loved to seen was a Battlefield 2-esque Star Wars game, something more grander and meatier than the scale on which Battlefront and Battlefront II were played out.

The guys who made KOTOR1 are making Mass Effect for xbox 360. It looks pretty amazing and is spacey sci-fi in the vein of star wars. Check it out!
