Diablo II
Hey I just bought the Diablo battle chest. I was very far in Diablo II but I got board so I decided to install the expansion set. When I went to play again my file was gone! I looked and found my file in the right place on my hard drive. Is there a wat to just uninstall the expansion set without uninstalling Diablo 2? Or is there any possible way to restore my comp back to that date and time? I heard there is a way. I am using Windows second edition.

What version did you have installed of D2? if you had 1.08 or 1.09 you would not see your characters when starting the game which is version 1.07 when first loaded, you would need to run the 1.09 patch now to see your characters. You do not have WinME so you can't restore a previous configuration of your system.

Either go to Battle.net, or in the game just log onto Battle.net and it will auto-load the patch.

Ok I downloaded the patch and when I went to play it it said "Unable to enter game. Bad Character Version". Any Ideas?

Did you convert the character to an expansion character first?

are you using battle.net or are you using single player,open battle.net,TCP/IP
if you are using the latter, then you can go to http://jamella.cjb.net/ download a player creator and make your character like it was before you lost it.. and you should be fine.. if you dont wanna cheat (beacuase this is a game hacking program)then i would just start over how high clvls did u have? |
