It's official - the BioShock xbox 360 demo is out for download for free via Marketplace. Get it while it's hot.

Finished playing through it about an hour ago. Good stuff and plenty creepy. It seems like it might get a little repetitive, but who knows. Definitely watch the movie following the demo to see all the different kinds of weapons you'll get to use in the game.

You can set booby traps which look pretty cool.

I played through it a couple times yesterday. The graphics are pretty awesome and the atmosphere is probly the best i've ever seen. Still tho I'll probly wait and get it cheap/used, there are just too many other AAA games coming out this fall. Also its hard plunking down $60 on a game without multiplayer, I can see spending 20 hours on it and never touching it again, it would be a good rental.

I've read you can trick the demo into letting you play in hard mode by adjusting a setting in your gamer profile. Also theres a glitch in the demo that lets you outside the level.

Nocturnx go and download the Stranglehold demo, then play through it until you unlock either the hard difficulty or the hard-boiled one. This game seems repetitive until you play on the harder settings (the ones I mentioned) - then it becomes amazing.

The Stranglehold demo is great, I love it. I'll definatley have to try it on the harder difficulties, i didn't know about that. Reminds me of Max Payne a bit but even more over the top action and very cinematic.

Heads up guys the PC version is now out as well on fileplanet : http://www.fileplanet.com/search.asp...e=2&q=bioshock

edit : a further update. There have been problems with the demo and both AMD/ATI and nVidia have released patches.
Make sure you've got the latest drivers also.
