Needing a new mouse. My grenade button is broken. :(

Hi again, and thanks for reading!!

I'm sure there was a thread here a month or so ago, about someone else also needing a new mouse. I don't remember the outcome, or if it was even posted here, might have been somewhere else.

I know you all had some good info to share in the past, and I am curious to know what you are currently using. I've come to value all your opinions over the last 3 years or so, and this is either the first or second place I go to when needing help. The first place might be a RLF at work or family member. Sorry to put you behind my brother.

I'd like to stay around $30, anything else, my wife will have issues. But if the product warrants that I spend another $10 or $15, then I might do it, depending on what I'm getting.

All that being said... I currently have a 5 button mouse, the thumb button that is used for for Forward when web browsing requires that I press it VERY hard to work. I guess that's because I've used that button to throw grenades for the last 2 years.

I play Call of Duty 2 with a clan that my brother and I run, United States MANIACS Clan!! Yes the abbv is *USMC*, draws a lot of attention, we might change it to *USM*.

Also play some COD1, and UO, Battlefield 1942, Medal of Honor: Allied Assualt once in awhile. Those are the only games I can think of that need that button. I've got a SideWinder FreeStyle Pro for my Need for Speed games, and an old SideWinder Force Feedback Pro that I get out once in awhile for the good ol' Mech Warrior games.

I don't care if it's USB, PS/2 or Wireless, Optical, Laser, as long as it folds, and fits under a bed. Sorry, that was a quote from an old TV show. BUT IT MUST HAVE 5 BUTTONS.

I'm looking at this one right now, Logitech MX518 2-Tone 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB + PS/2 Wired Optical Gaming-Grade Mouse - Retail $39.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826104178

Any and all idea welcome, thanks. Mark.

BTW -- if any COD 2 player wants to try his luck against me, by all means please drop by!!! I'm not the best, but I sure promise to give you a run for your money. You'll find me playing as *USMC* General Chicken.
