...Maybe.
Check this out and then decide if you want to email Microsoft for the hotfix : http://www.maximumpc.com/article/big...otfix_you_need

When you say Vista to a gamer most will laugh at ya. Its kinda funny that MS is already developing a new OS. Seems Vista has had its share of problem as did XP, but XP was fix and became a very reliable OS. I dont see Vista being the kind of OS that XP is.

It's the same issue of technology getting old. I wholeheartedly agree with the idea of moving to 64-bit computing. 32-bit is living extra hours. These types of things are only gonna get worse. Maybe this will get developers off their backsides and get them coding for 64-bit so we can all move to greener -and less troublesome- computing pastures.

Nothing's crashed on me yet, but I haven't extensively played anything on my new rig to know for sure.

Vista has been very stable latley. Games run as good or better on Vista than they do on XP for my rig. I used to dual boot and use XP for my games but have found out that Vista does a great job. I'll almost thinking of abandoning XP...

lol....i actually had FEAR crash and shut down on me twice this past week.
It never happened before though, so maybe it was just a bad week to be playing. I'm running Vista 64 by the way. |
