What is a good/decent non-monthly MMORPG to play?
I can afford to pay the one time charge of blah blah, but I just cannot handle the monthly fee, even if it liek 5 cents. Ok meybe 5 cents, but any higher is just ridiculous.
I liek both the small style, RO huh, and 3rd person, wow, so either is fine. I absolutely hate the 2D story, mapplestory, so I will avoid that. |

I play World of Warcraft, as you most likely know, it's $15 a month.
Course, I haven't bought another gamecard to play, so I been out of the game for couple of months. One of my WoW friend suggested Guild Wars, buy the game & it's free online. Never played it, but it seems like WoW, and what I know some people who left blizz. went to work on this. Really, the only ones I know of. |

i personally have played guild wars and i can say that it is a very very good MMORPG
the gameplay is very easy to get into and within a couple hours you can get up to speed the graphics in the game are phenomenal, i was just recently playing on my older computer that has a GeForce MX440 gpu and surprisingly it still looked good there is a level cap of level 20 which isn't so bad...but the game does take a lot of strategy (as most RPG's do) i would definitely recommend the game to anyone looking for a free MMORPG |

I'm thinking about GW too, but I think I might want to wait for GW 2 instead. I can play on private serve if the game has available server.
Tried WOW private server, but got a bit discouraged from it. |

Guild Wars and all the extension packs are worth playing... I've had it since it came out, and though I don't play it much I reckon it's better than WoW

Hellgate:London comes out on the 31st and will only have a monthly charge if you want elite status. Its from the guys that did Daiblo II and is very similar to guild wars.
