I'm gambling on Richard Garriot ...
Tabula Rasa is now out.
It's going to be my "holiday" present to myself (A little early but this year I only get a few). I think MMORPG are great in theory I've just never found one I want to keep playing ( Earth & Beyond didn't do it and as for FunCom's bungled launch of Anarchy On-line ..!!... enough said. I just never caught up. ). I don't light up for WOW or EverQuest either. But, some where out in cyber space, there must be the game for me and I'm trying again. Wish me luck with Tabula Rasa.

Looks pretty cool, and interesting name—to a spanish speaker it 'sounds' like The Taboo Race or something, maybe some punning there. I remember some of the Ultima series by Garriot back in the day, so its good to see him back. Seems like this is a pretty thoughtful setup, hopefully that transfers into the gameplay—while I like Blizzard's RTS releases (waiting on Starcraft II), WoW seems a bit less mature than Tabula Rasa in terms of its philosophy. On the other hand, Tabula Rasa might be missing the giant robots that scifi games need! I'm still wishing that there was a BattleTech/Mechwarrior MMO so maybe that's just me.

Tell us if it's any good Pam, I'm definitely also interested in Tabula Rasa. btw, did you ever try Guild Wars?? Better than WoW IMO

Don't want to be a downer but ive read alot of people that were in the Tabula Rasa beta were disappointed with it. You should check out their forum.
I agree shinyblackitty, hellgate london looks pretty cool.

Most people who've played Hellgate:London that I know have been disappointed with it, they say it's boring and repetitive. None have played Tabula Rasa, hence my interest
