Looking for a new game to play? Here's a list of freebies

http://www.gta4.ws/archives/82

Granted, while not all of them have the newest game engines around, I'm sure they're worth a few hours of entertainment

Thanks for the tip, Force Flow! -- some look pretty interesting. Any idea on a free Wolfenstein single player?

It looks like SP and MP are available. I just took a quick look on their main page: http://www.planetwolfenstein.com/

I had always assumed it was just MP, but it looks like MP is the free portion, while SP is not.

Hey, they've got Scorched 3D on there! I used to love playing the old Scorched Earth game. Might have to download that one. Of course, on my slow dialup, 48 Meg will take a good 7 to 8 hours, but what the heck. I'll just let it run one of these days when I'm busy doing something else and NOT on the computer.
Nice find FF!

Scorched 3D was rubbish IMO... I was the same as you Juppy, really excited, but it just didn't do it for me.

Kings Quest and Maniac Mansion will be awesome, thanks for that FF

Well, I haven't got it downloaded yet. Left my computer on last night to let it run and download that game.....dang thing got to 22.8 Meg and cut off for some reason. Dunno what happened. I figure I'll try it tonight with Firefox, that way if it cuts off I can just hit Retry with it's download manager and not have to start all over again.
