Question Why Isn't 1920x1200 an Option for me in Crysis?

Hey, I just got a new 24" widescreen monitor and was eager to try Crysis at 1920x1200 but when I go into the graphics settings, it's not there as an option. It caps out at 1600x1200. I've got an X1950Pro w/512MB GDDR3 which is a decent card. I'm also running the very latest drivers. I can play both FEAR and COD4 at 1920x1200 but for some reason it's not available to me in Crysis. Any ideas?!

Probably a bug, wait and see if they release an update.

Here is the review of Crysis from ExtremeTech : http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...2222410,00.asp

Even with an 8800 GT/GTS card installed (more powerful then your 1950) it slows to a crawl at 1920 x 1200 but that resolution is available.

So, since your supposed to be running that monitor at its' native resolution, do you have drivers installed for the monitor.
Is there anything in the game's manual that says that it will automatically throttle down the resolution ?

Red face Huh, It's There Now...

I don't know if it was something that I was overlooking or what but it's there now. The only thing that I can guess is that I was blind and stooopid and didn't see the scroll bar. Anyway, I'm now playing at 1920x1200 and it's noticeibly slow but still very much playable with my X1950Pro. But even more importantly is that I just ordered a BFG 8800GT OC2 today! WOOHOO! I can't wait to get that baby in the mail and install her to see what she'll do. It comes waaay overclocked. I'll post a review and benches when I receive it.

To bad the game is kind of a let down. Never thought I'd day it but the second half sucks.
Kind of short too. Oh well congrats on the resolution.

Cool

Yeah, I think Crysis is way overrated. COD4 destroys it and then some.
