Prey demo not working in Vista

Has anyone been able to play the Prey demo on Vista? It installs, but when I try to load it I get this error: DLL extraction to fs_savepath failed.

Any clue as to what's going on?

Try running it as administrator.

Your solution worked like a charm. I just finished playing through it, and boy does it play differently on my new computer. The play was a little weird though - it would be dip in fps in certain spots, but would jump right back up during in-game scenes when you would have thought it would have lagged as well.

I think what I'm saying is it lagged in some odd places.

I just bought the game used for the 360, but wanted to play the demo on the pc to see the graphical difference, as well as to see how much better my new computer could handle it.
