PC Gamer has a "build" article ....
The February edition of PC Gamer comes with "build your own" instructions on the CD (Yes, I mean cd. It's a video pod cast.) and in the magazine.

If you're collecting data before you build/rebuild a rig for yourself it's worth checking out.
