Wii Remotes

Don't know if you guys got this (imagine not), but over the Christmas break pretty much every store in Australia sold out of Wii remotes. Apparently demand was through the roof, and they couldn't be found in Australia for love nor money.

Same thing happen in the US?? Restock date is supposedly mid January

Yup. I believe that was the case here as well, but perhaps not as bad. I heard Australia was one of the worst places to try to find a Wii this season.

Forget the Wii remote! I haven't been able to find an actual Wii in stock for over a year!

you have to be there when the truck comes in or you have to have a brother that works at block buster . I just got one and they are phenomenally fun.

I'm sure I could if I wanted to. They had what amounted to a rain check this Christmas season where you could give a certificate that guaranteed a Wii sometime in January.

I haven't been looking that hard but if I happen to find one in stock I will probably grab it. I'm not in a huge hurry.
