There was a good one for the PS1, and the college basketball game made for the old NES was a great game in it's day, the first to try full 3D camera rotation and pull it off well, but they haven't taken off much.
The fad is with licensing players and pro leagues, for some reason .Plus, the NCAA won't allow players' names to be mentioned in commercial games, so that's a big minus as well. |

yeah thats a good point, but what about ncaa 2002 for ps2, or the one sega sports make??? I mean if they can make them for the console, why not make them for pc??? I would buy a console, but thats stupid for me, b/c I dont really like doa soul calibur...and arcade games...I knwo they have some great real time games like kessen 2, but i like games for pc, tom clancy sim city 300 (i like urban planning for some reason) nhl 2002.....sudden striek sudden strike forever.....ww2 games allied asault...you get the picture, those kidna games...strategy and real time games, and there arent too many out for a console. I wish ea sports....would make a college game....last time they made one was like what ncaa football 99??? and with todays engines graphics gameplay options etc. Id like a mroe current one....

Also a consideration in this is the multiplayer aspects of these games. 1v1 or 2v2 with these sports games is a requirement, and it's easier to make one for a console than to worry with programming or licensing network code to get them working over the internet
.
