mouse not working in BF2
I wasn't sure where to post this but thought maybe some bf2'ers may have a fix for this. I have a wireless MX3200 keyboard/mouse. Mouse works fine in all programs. When I start BF2, the cursor is nowhere to be found once I'm at the BF2 log-on window. I managed to get logged in one time but once in I could not use the mouse. Went back out....mouse working fine. Never had this problem before. Its on a pc hooked up to my plasma and I don't use it that often. Today I dumped a bunch of stuff I haven't been using...EA loader, STEAM, Counterstrike, and Tony Hawk. Also loaded the Netflix program to watch movies on this pc. I'm mentioning all of this in case it may have something to do with it.

Have you tried a wired mouse?

no...but I'll try it. This mouse has been working fine with the game until today.

In your case it'll be hard to tell what took out the mouse settings in BF2.
You'll have to redo them and see if that helps.

I now know the mouse is working. I just can't see the cursor. I managed to log in, navigate around the game menu, and I can see buttons highlight when I cross over them. I just can't see the cursor. Very strange. I even got in a game and when I did the cursor was there! It was just skipping all over the place.
