cant play Cellfactor

Hey all,

i cant play Cellfactor revolution.

i started it and the screen goes black and then my desktop shows and it just goes off?

whats up?
the latest patch is installed and i cant find anything on the internet with the same problem?

i have edited the icon and changed the target to
Quote:
"C:\Program Files\Timeline Interactive\Cellfactor Revolution\System\Reality.exe" EnablePhysX=false
i added the

Quote:
EnablePhysX=false
because i thought it might be because i dont have a physics card but it still dont work.
but with that target change you should be abel to play without physics card i heard.

From the FAQ for the game :
You can play 2 levels without the Aegia card but you need it for others.

There's also a fix for "blanked out" menu screens, which sounds like your problem but the fix isn't what you've done.

My Menus Are Blank!

We are aware of this issue reported by some players and are working to rectify it.

If you get this issue, first check to see that your PC meets, or comes as close as possible to, CellFactor: Revolution's recommended specifications (listed above).

One possible temporary fix is to attempt running the game in a windowed mode - to do this try going to the installation folder(most probably C:\ProgramFiles\TimeLine Interactive\Cellfactor Revolution) you will find RealtyEngine.ini file. Open it you will find a line “FullScreen = true” change it to “FullScreen = false”,”SuppressWarnings = true” to “SupressWarnings = false” and “SupressWarningsLogging = true” to “SupressWarningsLogging = false”. Then try running the game and see if the problem still exists. If so
send us the following files:

* C:\ProgramFiles\TimeLine Interactive\Cellfactor Revolution\System\RealtiyEngine.log
* C:\ProgramFiles\TimeLine Interactive\Cellfactor Revolution\Cellfactor\Cellfactor.ini
* C:\ProgramFiles\TimeLine Interactive\Cellfactor Revolution\RealtiyEngine.ini

OK if that patch did install, sorry I wasn't paying enough attention, then have you tried un-installing and re-installing .NET 2.0 ?

You're going to have to wait for an update as they work their way through the problems then.

Your best bet is to click on the "send us feedback" link on the bottom of the page and let Ageia know what's going on.
