Pidgin like Xfire?
Is there a plugin for Pidgin (instant messenger client) that supports in game chat (text) like Xfire (an in game chat client) I don't care about logging my game hours or anything, just want to talk to my friends while playing a game.

I don't know of one but then I never had to look before.
Let's see what my "Google-Fu" can do. It may take a few days.

Pidgin has a plugin that supports the chat protocol, but as far as I've seen, xfire's in-game chat overlay is fairly unique.

Well I just want a all in one instant messenger that I'm able to chat with people while in a game, I guess it will probably be a while.
