GTA IV question

Can you heal others? I was taking Dwayne to go bowling and he got hit by a car. It said "Your friend is injured" at the bottom of the screen, and Dwayne didn't get up. I called 911 and got a paramedic to come out, but they stopped pretty far away and did nothing. I just loaded up from my last save point, so no harm was done, but I was just wondering what I could have done. Does anybody know?

This may not be the best site for help with a counsel game. But luckily, I've been playing this game nonstop since the 29th. And I know for sure you cannot heal other players. You'er partner, though, should still be able to dial 911.

What do you mean they can call 911?

Press up on the d-pad twice. That brings the phone to the free dial mode. dial 911, then press the call button(top left of the phone pad). Then you will get a 911 operator & you have to press a button 1-3. 1 is the police. 2 is the fire department & 3 is paramedics... The order might be different, its been awhile since I called 911.

No, I got that - that's what I did when it happened hoping they would heal Dwayne, but they did not. I was confused on what he meant by his partner dialing 911.

I'm jealous now. I hope they bring it to PC!

I've read that a group of people are trying to rip the game so that we can play it on PC. I hope that's true.

I really don't want to purchase a console just for this game =(

I will be jealous once it comes to PC I can't afford a capable PC that can produce PS3/360 graphics for the price that I got my console at... However you do get the advantage with mods. How amazing would it be if someone modded GTA: Vice City/San Andreas to look & play like GTA4?...

That would just be way too much effort, although it might be worth it for San Andreas. They took a lot of things out of GTA IV that made SA so robust, so updating the look certainly could merit a second play.

I say that, and the only two I ever played most of the way through were GTA III and Vice City, so maybe I'm not the best judge. I'm almost to the end of GTA IV, although I bought COD 3 the other day, so I've been playing that lately instead.
