Forcing a game into widescreen?

Hi,

I hope someone can assist me with my problem for a mmorpg Mu Online.

The max resolution in game that i can set is 1280x1024. I have been to the website http://www.widescreengamingforum.com...pic.php?t=7709 for a fix but I don't understand their solution. Could someone explain to me what the author is saying? I know you go into the registry...

And the fix is for 1680x1050, what would I have to change in the code to make it 1920x1200? Is that even possible? Or is there a cap?

I think that is for a specific game, not for all games. I know for some games there are hacks/patches to enable widescreen, you just have to search for the game you want in widescreen.

Two things.

The first is the date of that post which is 2 years ago.

I checked the MU online forum : http://www.globalmuonline.com/forums/

and that brought up the second, the number of updates and patches since then.

Your best bet would be to post on that forum and ask them if there is any current way to make the game run effectively in widescreen that someone who isn't a programmer can use.
